Chris offers private instruction for individual lessons at his home studio for children ages 4 and up. He also prepares high school/college age students who are interested in pursuing higher education in music as well as adults of all ages who are beginning an instrument for the first time.
Lesson times are offered Monday - Friday in the afternoons in 30 min (for all ages) and 1 hour (older children/adults only) increments.

I'm always impressed that one 30-minute lesson per week results in such notable results, with my girls easily and quickly learning songs within a very short window. Mr. Newton is also very flexible and has a very open mind, often encouraging kids to come up with song selections they want to learn next, which then makes learning music all the more enjoyable, exciting, and fun.
My girls are extremely fortunate to be students of Mr. Newton - he is great with my girls, we enjoy his teaching style and I've referred friends that also speak highly of him. He is a genuine asset to our community and a treasure to the schools he teaches at.

Chris Newton has been teaching my son, Tommy, every week for the past 5 years. My son started out with picking up his guitar during Covid as a hobby, and once he started to express a desire to really want learn it, we decided to hire Chris since he was my children’s music teacher in elementary school. He has taught him every aspect to playing guitar from learning each and every sound, cord, note to reading and writing his own sheet music. He has been extremely helpful and knowledgeable in every way needed and has been there for us numerous times. Chris has not only been an amazing teacher and friend, but mentor as well and has encouraged Tommy to pursue his dream of becoming an artist.
